Morgan Hosts White House Clean Energy Savings for All Summit

On November 18, 2016, Morgan served as host for the White House Clean Energy Savings for All Summit. The event was part of a series of nationwide summits that sought to provide local and state officials, advocates, community organizations, and interested members of the public with an opportunity to develop new partnerships and learn about ways to further reduce air pollution, deploy clean energy and energy efficiency, and build an inclusive clean energy economy that supports good jobs for all Americans. As a feature of the Summit’s morning activities, MSU President David Wilson led an ‘Arm Chair Session’ featuring Obama Administration secretaries Ernest Moniz (Department of Energy) and Thomas Perez (Department of Labor). Approximately 150 people attended the Summit.
