MSU Competes for National Title in Annual HBCU All-Star Trivia Challenge

Two-Year Competition Streak Yields More Than $22,000 in Grants to University

Morgan State University congratulates and celebrates its Honda Campus All Star Challenge Team, which last month represented the university at the 22nd Annual National HCASC Championship Tournament.

MSU competed as one of eight division champions out of 48 qualifying institutions, and won a $6,000 grant. Since 2009, the team has earned more than $22,000 in grant money for the university through the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge.

“I am quite proud of our team, their performance, and beyond the Challenge, their role as great ambassadors for the institution,” said Dr. OluwaTosin Adegbola, coach of the MSU HCASC team and Interim Chair of the university’s Department of Communications Studies.
