Morgan Welcomes New BGE CEO to Baltimore

During a reception sponsored by Morgan State University, in collaboration with the Maryland-Washington Minority Companies, Inc., Baltimore officially welcomed BGE’s new chief executive officer, Mr. Calvin Butler, Jr. to the area. The reception was held in the Earl S. Richardson Library on Tuesday, April 28, 2014 and included a number of BGE employees, Morgan President David Wilson, NFL Hall of Famer and MSU alumnus Willie Lanier, State Senator Catherine Pugh and many others.

Butler became CEO of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company in March of 2014. He will return to Morgan’s campus on May 17th as keynote speaker for the university’s 138thCommencement.
