Campus Construction Updates – 12/21

For your safety: please stay out of the construction zones

 Allow extra travel time!

We are reaching the home stretch for the majority of the Quad work to be completed! Please see the scheduled closures/openings below: 

Route Changes:

The area between Spencer and Dixon will be closed for paving from 12-20-11 through 12-23-11 (Pink).

The walkway behind Truth to Welcome Bridge and Quad will be closed from 12-23-11 through 01-10-12. (Brown).

The area between Carter Grant Wilson and Truth will reopen on 01-03-12 (Dark Blue).

The walks between Holmes and Jenkins and Welcome Bridge to Tubman/Holmes Hall will reopen fully paved on 01-01-12 (Red Dashes).

The area between Jenkins and Truth/Carter Grant Wilson will be the last area to reopen at the end of January, 01-31-11 (Black Dashes).

All above work is weather dependent.

Uncompleted work schedule:

Hand rails (March/April) or sooner if weather permits

Planting of oak trees (March/April)

Sprinkler operation (April)

For your SAFETY, PLEASE utilize the routes marked in RED.

Alternate routes to buildings are from the service roads and public streets.

As with all construction, and particularly this Quad construction, please pay attention to where you are going/walking, and allow for extra travel time. PLEASE BE ALERT IN YOUR TRAVELS.
