See the acclaimed Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY – Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Murphy Fine Arts Center in the Gilliam Concert Hall. The Dance Theatre of Harlem–which was founded as a neoclassical ballet company–is a ballet company like no other.
Founded more than 40 years ago, this is a company of African-American and other racially diverse artists who perform the most demanding repertory at the highest quality. The Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble (DTHE) is the second company of the Dance Theatre of Harlem repertoire is comprised of classical, neoclassical and innovative contemporary ballet; and it is presented with freshness an vitality by a group of young, talented artists.
DTHE will perform a program that is beautiful and eclectic. Tickets are available at the Murphy Fine Arts Center ticket office (x4440) and the University Student Center ticket office (x1522). Tickets for MSU students: $18 (one per Bear card). MSU Faculty and Staff prices: $25 and $30 (limit 4 per Bear card). Ticket prices for non-MSU ticket buyers range from $28 to $35.
