Morgan State Hosts Statewide Forum on College Completion

Morgan State University will host the Maryland Higher Education Commission’s inaugural Statewide College Completion Forum on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in the University Student Center. Designed to share strategies and best practices in encouraging college completion, the forum will invites stakeholders and representatives from the state’s K-12 system, economic and workforce development agencies, and national higher education advocacy groups.

The day-long session will feature remarks and presentations from Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, US Department of Education Under Secretary Martha Kanter, Lumina Foundation CEO Jamie Merisotis, and others.
