School of Education and Urban Studies Professor Inducted into Hall of Fame

Recently, Dr. Jacqueline Holland, an assistant professor in the School of Education and Urban Studies’ Department of Family and Consumer Services, was inducted into the Havre de Grace High School ‘2018 Hall of Fame’ (Havre de Grace, MD). Dr. Holland, a 1971 graduate from the school and one of four alumni inductees, was honored for having a profound impact in her chosen profession and community, as well as for being a positive role model for current students, staff and others. She joins an elite group of 37 previous alumni to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

Among the highlights from Dr. Holland’s induction ceremony was a heartfelt introduction by a current Harve de Grace High School senior student who aspires to major in family and consumer sciences education upon graduation. She was also presented with a citation from Senator Robert Cassilly of the Maryland General Assembly.

As a newly minted inductee, Dr. Holland’s portrait will be displayed along with other exemplary Harve de Grace High School alumni in the school’s designated Hall of Fame area. Established eight years ago, the Havre de Grace High School Hall of Fame is jointly sponsored by the Hall of Fame Committee and the school administration.

Congratulations to Dr. Jacqueline Holland for receiving this well-earned distinction.
