The Morgan State University School of Engineering’s Dr. Eugene DeLoatch was honored recently by U.S. Black Engineer Magazine publisher Tyrone Taborn for his impact, not only on the education of young engineers of color but also because of his many years of outstanding service to engineering students. Many of Dr. DeLoatch’s former students returned for the tribute and spoke of the profound effect he had on their aspirations to become engineers.
