Morgan Professor nominated for NAACP Image Award

Morgan professor and author MK Asante, whose latest book Buck continues to win critical acclaim nationally, now has another honor under his cap – nominated for an NAACP Image Award. Asante’s memoir, Buck, is among the nominees for Outstanding Literary Work in the category of Biography/Autobiography. Winners will be announced during the live program airing Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. on the TV One cable channel. MK Asante is associate professor of English and language arts at Morgan.
