Morgan Faculty Member Named to Baltimore City Health Planning Council

Morgan Director of Community Practice & Outreach and Assistant Professor – Behavioral Health Sciences Lorece V. Edwards was recently named to the Baltimore City Local Health Planning Council. In this capacity, Dr. Edwards will serve as a senior advisor to the Baltimore City Health Department on health issues and its Healthy Baltimore 2015 initiative.

The mission of the Council is to advise, guide, and participate in the strategic planning for fuller implementation of Healthy Baltimore 2015. The Council will also play a role in shaping the direction of the newly forming Coalition for a Healthy Baltimore.
