Andre L. Johnson, a 1999 graduate of Morgan State University with a Master of Architecture degree, has won a consecutive American Institute of Architects (AIA) award from the North Carolina chapter for his work. His studio also recently won an AIA award from the Triangle (NC) chapter. This brings the total number of design awards to three since the studio was founded in November of last year. Andre founded his own studio in 2013, to focus on design excellence in modern architecture. Andre is principal and owner of the six person studio and leads all of the design efforts on each project.
