Professor Scharmen Semifinalist for Sondheim Prize

Frederick ScharmenFrederick Scharmen, Assistant Professor in Architecture, is a semifinalist for this year’s Sondheim Prize. The Sondheim Prize awards a $25,000 fellowship to a visual artist or visual artist collaborators living and working in the Baltimore region. As a semifinalist, Professor Scharmen’s work will be shown in the Decker, Meyerhoff and Pinkard galleries of MICA during the Artscape weekend (July 18-20, 2014). The five finalists will have their work exhibited at the Walters Art Museum.
