ESPN officials continued their visit to Morgan State University this afternoon with a open forum discussion with campus student leaders in the Communications building.

Recruiters and public relations officials met with about 20 Morgan faculty members and students for half an hour, entertaining questions about career preparation and the qualifications students should develop to one day find careers at the worldwide leader in sports.

ESPN officials shared helpful tips on resume structure, specifically, a 10-second rule of review. One representative shared that it takes about ten seconds for a hiring manager to find distinguishable characteristics of a future ESPN employee.

ESPN will also be hosting an information session at the Gilliam Concert Hall in the Murphy Fine Arts Center from 6pm-8pm; where students will be able to speak one-on-one with representatives and to receive more information about the company. They will also be giving tips on how to make a resume immediately stand out to corporate hiring managers.

Business attire is required for the open networking event.
