 Architecture faculty member Mohammad Gharipour was recently presented with the National Endowment for Humanities Faculty Award for his research on Synagogues of Isfahan, Iran. His research is a continuation of his project on non-Muslim sacred sites in the Middle East, which will be published as a comprehensive volume in 2014.

Dr.Gharipour’s research was recently featured in New York Times’ article, “Centuries of Judaica from Lands in the Middle East.”
