BALTIMORE (WBFF) In the season of giving, a group of Morgan State University students spent time today giving back while picking up trash.

More than 60 volunteers from the "Saving the Earth from A to Z" volunteer program were at Briscoe Park, Sunday morning. Volunteers from the "World Mission Church of God" were also there.

The cleanup is a part of the "Mother's Street" campaign, an international movement to clean streets and reduce crime.

Their goal was to collect 150 bags of trash. At the last cleanup, volunteers were able to gather 230 large bags of trash and established a tulip garden.
