Students at Morgan State University will soon see a technology upgrade on their Baltimore campus, thanks to big tech companies Apple and Google. The two tech world titans have awarded more than $6 million in grants to the historically Black university.The money will be used to fund the lab space, bring in guest lecturers, supply faculty training, provide scholarships for students and much more.Both grants are part of each company's efforts to push equity in computing education in order to pull more young people of color into the STEM talent pool.
