MSU delegation accompanies Governor O’Malley on mission to India

A delegation from Morgan State University, led by President David Wilson, accompanied Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and others on a multi-faceted mission to India. The trip has several purposes including a business focus for some and an education focus for President Wilson, Dr. Mary Anne Akers, dean of Morgan’s School of Architecture and Planning, and architecture professor Sanjit Roy.

“Morgan’s interest in India is in finding ways to broaden the educational experiences of students by establishing student exchange programs with institutions of higher education in that country,” said Morgan’s President David Wilson. The visit to India spans roughly one week, during which time there will be opportunities for the Morgan delegation to visit several universities in some of India’s major cities.
