Two of Dr. Archana Sharma’s, Assistant Professor in Landscape Architecture, works were exhibited at the peer-reviewed International Exhibit for the 2014 Council of Educators in Landscape, at CBEIS, Morgan State University, through 26-29th March 2014. The independent piece entitled “Design code in Haiku” and offered haiku as means of practicing critical design thinking, in addition to drawing and sketching. The collaborative painting with Professor Fletcher Mackey from the Maryland Institute and College of Arts investigated the layers of disparities in Baltimore and acts as a provocateur seeking acknowledgement and further debate on the topic.

“Baltimore”- the 55″x48″ multimedia on canvas is up for sale with starting bid of $999 to raise money for building the Herring Run Observation deck designed by Dr. Archana Sharma and her graduate students: Finola Perry, Eric Fallow, Caitlin Cunningham, Bradley Diese and Gisele Kennedy.
