Carmen Potter, alumnae from the Graduate Program in Architecture, was selected as the 3rd place winner in the Triangle Fire Memorial design competition. The two phase international competition was created to memorialize the employees of the Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire of 1911 in which 146 lives were lost. The memorial will be a permanent installation at the Brown Building on the campus of New York University in New York City.
