School of Architecture + Planning faculty member Dr. Samia Rab Kirchner (chair of the ACSA Leadership Committee) moderated a recent webinar on “Developing Policies and Shifting Operations for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion,” which included seven panelists and 250 attendees. The panel was organized by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture to address the lack of social equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in architectural education. It shared examples of decolonized curricula that builds students’ agency to design social and environmental change through architectural practice.
