SA+P Wins Big at AIAMaryland Student Design Awards

Students from the Graduate Program in Architecture and Undergraduate Program in Architecture & Environmental Design were the big winners at the 2014 AIAMaryland Student Design Awards on September 10 at the Silver Spring Civic Building. Jason Knight, Pauline Sipin, and Francis Ikhalea competed against 40 entries from approximately eight schools.  Jason Knight was named the Graduate Winner (5th/6th Year)for his College Park Airport project. Pauline Sipin was awarded the top prize for 3rd/4th Year students for her  Perkins Home Revitalization studio project. And Francis Ikhalea’s KALLYCASA “The Other Side” project was the winner for 1st/2nd Year students.  Congratulations to our students and the faculty members (Jeremy Kargon, Graduate Winner; Pavlina Ilieva, 3rd/4th Year Winner; and Adam Bridge, 1st/2nd Year Winner) who sponsored their work.
