MSU Professors Named Among Daily Record’s Top 100 Women

Dr. Lorece V. Edwards is a committed scholar and teacher, a health professional of the first order and an innovator in the field of HIV and AIDS. “My most significant  accomplishment to date has been raising the awareness of the issue of HIV/AIDS among women and giving them a voice,” said Edwards, director of community practice and outreach at Morgan State University.

Associate Professor of Management and Director, Graves Honors Program
Morgan State University

Karen L. Proudford has served as director of the Graves Honors Program at Morgan State University since its inception in 2003. In that time, the program has a 100 percent placement rate for high distinction graduates, who have secured positions at leading firms such as Boeing, Cintas, Lockheed Martin and Vanguard.
