U.S. Transportation Secretary to Visit MSU

On Thursday, February 17, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood visits Morgan State University for a town hall meeting with students, faculty and staff about innovation, diversity, education, and careers in the transportation industry. The event is being held in the University Student Center’s Calvin and Tina Tyler Ballroom from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

In keeping with President Obama’s initiatives toward innovation, education and diversity, Secretary LaHood, a member of the President’s Cabinet, will inform Morgan students of career opportunities in the transportation industry. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend and engage the Secretary in dialogue. Refreshments will be served.
