Architecture and Environmental Design sophomore and American Institute of Architect student (AIAS) representative, Marvin Oduro, and his three teammates from Virginia Tech, Catholic University of America and Howard University have won the 2014 Inter-School Design Competition on September 14. The one-day design charrette is held annually at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Participants are architecture students from the region’s six design schools. This year’s distinguished jury included Tom Liebel, FAIA, Katherine Prigmore, FAIA, Thomas Luebke, FAIA, Oomer Syed, RLA, and lead juror Ma Yansong, founding principal of MAD Architects.
