Morgan Choir Featured in Performance at the White House

On June 26th, for the first time, television viewers will have the chance to enjoy the Morgan State University Choir in performance at the White House, accompanying such gospel greats as Aretha Franklin, Shirley Caesar, Lyle Lovett and Darlene Love, among others. The concert is part of a special White House celebration of gospel music. It was recorded live in April of this year as part of the PBS series, “In Performance at the White House,” and will air on June 26, 2015 on local PBS stations (WMPT in Baltimore) and on the TV One cable network. Check your local listings.

The MSU Choir was recently back in the nation’s capital to sing for the investiture of new U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch at the Warner Theatre. The Choir performed at the request of Attorney General Lynch. You may view that performance here:
