This Summer, the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) Morgan State University Chapter president and vice president, Francis Ikhalea and Marvin Oduro respectively, attended the annual AIAS Grassroots Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.

Along with Associate Professor, Suzanne Frasier, the conference was three-days of training and breakout sessions with other 200 students representing architecture schools from all over the country. Conference highlights included meeting “starchitects” Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, recipients of the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama.
