MSU Choir Performs at Washington National Cathedral

At the request of the diocese, the Morgan State University choir traveled to the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC, to participate in the Holy Eucharist and HBCU Sunday. The festive event welcomed alumnae, organizations, families and community representing Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in a special Eucharist as part of Black History Month. The choir’s last visit to the Washington National Cathedral was in 2013 when our students performed during the nation’s tribute to Nelson Mandela following his passing. A number of Morgan alumnae were present for what turned out to be a memorable and phenomenal performance. Morgan President David Wilson was also in attendance to support our outstanding choir.
