Students Win Cash and Bragging Rights in Pitch and Business Plan Competitions
On February 26th nine students competed for cash and bragging rights in the 2015 Morgan Pitch and Business Plan Competitions. The judges, Chiko Abengowe, founder of Perfect Staffing Solutions, Kelly Ernest, Marketing Director at KatzaBosch, and Drs. Augustus Abbey, Leyland Lucas, and Rob Singh from Morgan State University, asked probing questions and offered helpful advice to Morgan’s aspiring entrepreneurs. Malcolm Battle and Terrence Flowers placed first in the Undergraduate Division of the Business Plan Competition. Royelle Cook placed first in the Undergraduate Pitch Competition; Leon Robinson and Wayne Byrd, placed second and third, respectively, in the Undergraduate Pitch Competition.
Jeff Holmes placed first in the Graduate Pitch Competition.
