A delegation of Morgan State University alumni, administrators and students traveled last month to the Virgin Islands for the annual Paradise Jam basketball tournament. The tournament, which showcases mid-major and power conference Division I programs in early-season matchups, gave the MSU men’s basketball team an exciting prelude to its conference season, which began this month.

VI Governor John P. deJongh hosted the team and the traveling alumni, along with members of the MSU Virgin Islands alumni chapter for a special reception at his home during the tournament.
