Education Secretary Arne Duncan to speak at 2013 Commencement

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne DuncanArne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education, will be the keynote speaker this year as Morgan prepares to celebrate Commencement 2013.

Secretary Duncan has been a strong advocate for quality public  education, and a great supporter of the role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities in producing graduates to strengthen the competitiveness of the United States.  You can learn more about Secretary Duncan here.

The fulfillment of a dream will be realized for more than 900 students who will receive their bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees on May 18, 2013. Commencement ceremonies get underway promptly at 10:00 a.m. with the procession of graduates into the University’s W.A.C. Hughes Memorial Stadium.
