MSU Choir Performing at the White House

The Morgan State University Choir will be featured Tuesday evening, April 14, 2015 during a performance at the White House for the President and First Lady. This is part of the “In Performance at the White House” series and takes a look at the nation’s gospel music tradition. A number of America’s gospel greats will perform including Aretha Franklin, Shirley Caesar, Tamela Mann, the Morgan State University Choir and several others. Choir Director Eric Conway was asked to bring a small contingent of the choir to the White House because of space considerations.

The program is being live-streamed at www.whitehouse.gov/live but is also being videotaped for later broadcast on PBS and TVOne.
