Graves School of Business Professor Selected as USASBE Entrepreneurship Teaching and Learning Scholar

Dr. Mary FosterCongratulations to Dr. Mary Foster, associate professor in the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management, who was accepted as a 2018/2019 Entrepreneurship Teaching and Learning Scholar by United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) after participating in a very competitive international selection process. Dr. Foster is one of 16 scholars the USASBE selected to participate in an eight-month program to build the next generation of global leaders in teaching and learning for entrepreneurship.

For nearly a year, each scholar participating in the program will work to design, implement, test, and share outcomes of an innovative curricular or co-curricular project that provides a significant learning experience for entrepreneurs in their communities. The program seeks to accomplish this goal by creating and growing a thriving community of educators.

The USASBE is the world’s largest independent, professional, academic organization dedicated to advancing the discipline of entrepreneurship. With nearly 1000 members from universities and colleges, for-profit businesses, nonprofit organizations, and the public sector, USASBE is a diverse mix of professionals that share a common commitment to fostering entrepreneurial attitudes and behaviors through entrepreneurship education and research.
