Sixteenth Annual Regional HBCU Summit on Retention

The Sixteenth Annual Regional HBCU Summit on Retention is scheduled for March 14-16, 2013 in Ocean City, Maryland. The theme for this summit is Improving Retention at HBCUs: Leveraging Black Male Success for Overarching College Completion

CALL FOR PROPOSAL: If you are interested in making a presentation at the summit use the Call for Proposals to submit your abstract via email. The Call for Proposals is available on the summit website at:

REGISTRATION: The summit will be held at Clarion Resort Hotel in Ocean City. A copy of the registration form is available on the summit website at:

The registration fees for the summit are:

 

 Conference until Feb. 15th                     $350   

 Conference after Feb. 15th                     $400   

 Conference Onsite                                 $400   

 

Student Reg. until Feb. 15th                        $250

 Student Reg. after Feb. 15th                   $275   

 Student Reg. Onsite                               $275

STUDENT PARTICIPATION:  As we have done previously, we will have students participating at the summit. We will also need students to assist in the break out sessions.  If you are planning to bring students and they would like to participate, please forward their names, majors, and classifications to me as soon as possible, Dr. John Wheatland at x3864, john.wheatland@morgan.edu

MODERATORS: We are looking for 2-3 attendees from each institution (faculty and staff) to volunteer to be a moderator for one session during the summit. Please contact Dr. John Wheatland at x3864, john.wheatland@morgan.edu  if you are willing to be a moderator.
