Landscape Architecture Students complete work in Belair-Edison

Last year, the Morgan student chapter for the American Society of Landscape Architecture (SASLA) worked with the Belair-Edison neighborhood to complete conceptual designs for renovated residences and vacant lots. St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, a non-profit housing provider, sponsored a student charrette for front yard designs with residents in the community to supplement newly renovated homes in Belair-Edison. SA+P Alumnae Places in International Design Competition

Carmen Potter, alumnae from the Graduate Program in Architecture, was selected as the 3rd place winner in the Triangle Fire Memorial design competition. The two phase international competition was created to memorialize the employees of the Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire of 1911 in which 146 lives were lost.
