‘Diamonds’ on display at Chestertown RiverFest

IMG_3216Two of the most popular art installations from last Spring’s Baltimore’s Light City festival, “Charlie the Peacock” and “Diamonds,” was part of the Chestertown, Maryland, two-day RiverFest celebration in Septemer. Funding for the installations is being provided by SANDBOX, ThinkBig, the Kent County Arts Council and an anonymous donor.

“Diamonds” was designed by Associate Professor and Undergraduate Design Chair, Gabriel Kroiz and his partner, Mina Cheon, Ph.D. This past summer, Kroiz and Cheon held a “Diamonds Shadow Workshop” and “Diamonds Light Seoul at The Village” installation in South Korea.

Keep looking out for “Diamonds” in a neighborhood near you!
