SA+P Students Win at MSU Science Research Symposium

Science Conference Winners

Congratulations to three of our students who won awards for best research posters at the MSU Science Research Symposium held last April 14, 2015. The winners are:

Social Science Category:
Olabisi Oladele, Graduate Architecture student , Adviser: Dr. Mohammad Gharipour
Title of research: “How can Architecture facilitate the transition of ex-convicts from prison back into the community.”

Sustainability and Design:
1. Prince Langley, BSAED student, Adviser: Prof Pavlina Ilieva
Title of Research: Terrascape: Urban Regeneration as a continuous landscape

2. Juan Sian, BSAED student, Adviser: Dr. Samia Kirchner
Title of Research: Urban Regeneration Collaborative: Morgan State University East Cold Spring Corridor

Their winning research projects show that research is an important component of good design. Looking forward for more student entries next year!
