‘Diamonds’ on display at Chestertown RiverFest

Two of the most popular art installations from last Spring’s Baltimore’s Light City festival, “Charlie the Peacock” and “Diamonds,” was part of the Chestertown, Maryland, two-day RiverFest celebration in Septemer. Professor Kroiz was selected to participate in Light City

The Artist & Architect team of Mina Cheon and Gabriel Kroiz, Chair, Undergraduate Design, have been chosen to produce an installation entitled ‘Diamonds Light Baltimore’ as part of the 2016 Baltimore Festival, Light City: A Festival of Lights and Ideas. The project will be installed along the Baltimore Waterfront for the week of March 28 – April 3.

The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, New York has selected an art work by architect, educator, and artist Ruth Connell for the museum’s permanent collection. The Curtiss Museum acquisition is the oil painting “Sunny Point I (for Annie)”, created by the artist on site at Lake Keuka in 2012.
